This photo envelopes two things I love and have loved. I love nature, and I loved softball more than any other sport and still do today. This photo reminds me of the times I played on this field and many others, and on hot days the teams would have lunch under the cool shade of trees.
Seeing this landscape almost brings tears to my eyes because I had quit playing softball on a team after I got glasses. Now, more than ever, I wish I hadn't done that and continued playing. I lost what talent I had when I was younger to play softball. Now, I can't run very fast and cannot throw a ball far enough to save my life.
The past can hurt, but you can either learn from it, or run from it.
